The short version
Your detailed answers, prediction history, trait signals and clone profile stay on your device. If you choose friend play, ME² shares only the minimum challenge information needed with the people you select.
What remains local
Your full answer history, clone model, confidence evidence, reminder preference and private reflection data remain protected on this device. They are not sent to a remote AI, advertising platform or analytics provider.
What friend play stores
To connect friends, ME² can store a name you choose, an opaque profile identifier, friend code, accepted friend links, challenge state, predictions, reveals and aggregate who-knows-whom scores. It never uploads your address book. A friend sees only what you deliberately share with them.
Your controls
You can inspect and delete your local clone in the app. You can remove friends and delete your online friend profile. Deleted social records are removed from active service storage, subject to short operational backup retention.
Website privacy
This website is served by Cloudflare, which may process limited request information to deliver and protect it. The site sets no marketing cookie and runs no visitor analytics.
